ABOUT US

The Eleanor Kolitz Academy is An independent K-8 community day school and the only Jewish day school in San Antonio. Since 1972 it has provided students with an outstanding secular and Jewish education. We serve students from the entire spectrum of Jewish affiliation and we believe that all children should have access to a Jewish education. Graduates have attended numerous top rated colleges including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, and The University of Texas at Austin.

Accreditation

Our school is accredited by (ISAS) the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest. ISAS is a regional association of 82 schools in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, New Mexico, Arizona and Mexico enrolling more than 44,000 students.

ISAS requires a rigorous and comprehensive accreditation process to assist member schools in their commitment to the higher standards in student growth, curriculum design, instructional methods and faculty development.
The accreditation process required by ISAS ensures that our school meets and/or exceeds state standards and is designed to give all children the opportunity to achieve the fullest development of their potentials.
